I am always on the look out for new DIY art ideas. Apartment living doesn’t exactly lend itself to major renovations or projects, so mostly what I do is decorate. And since I don’t want things to get stale, I like to have quick and easy art ideas on hand for the next time I feel the need to swap things out.
I only recently discovered The Painted Arrow and her gorgeous shop. It’s full of gorgeous (and very reasonably priced) prints but the thing that got me super excited was finding these pretty instant-download wreaths (here and here). At a few bucks a pop, they were an amazing buy and they make for some of the easiest and prettiest DIY art around!
You get an email with the high resolution files almost instantly. All you have to do is download and open in your favorite photo editing software. (I’m currently using Photoshop Elements.)
I’m sure you could totally figure the rest out for yourselves, but just for the heck of it, I put together a cute little instructional photo:
With the discovery of free downloadable fonts, you can do so much with these two pretty wreaths! I actually have a whole Pinterest board dedicated to fonts, so feel free to start there!
I just took my files down to Staples to have them printed on card stock. Our little home printer, isn’t really set up for high quality printing, so I spend the fifty cents to have them print all of my print art and organizing labels.
